Does this feel right to you, doesn’t this feel wrong
Or is it only what I feel
This enormous valley that swallows the few feet between us
These words that fill my throat, choking me
All that I want to say, all that I can’t

This weak façade is assaulted on all fronts
Not strong enough to survive the night alone
No power against the weight of you near me
And the smile crumbles and the tears fall
When you look away, when we don’t touch

Throughout the day your eyes haunt my mind
And I’ve found the effort spent forgetting you
Only impresses on my mind how much I love you
I wonder that time can’t empty my heart of this
I fear that time will fill yours with another

Does this feel right you, doesn’t this feel wrong
Or is it only what I feel
Show the strength you hide behind your reason
Give me the peace of mind that we can’t find
